Critiques

:iconmistcity:
As a Persona fan I liked this right away, but once I took it all in I loved it as a fan of art. It's honestly hard for me to know where to start with this critique for there are simply too many things to talk about.

I was very impressed with the coloring job you did. Not only did you take the pinkish shade that the character's menus will be displayed in on the PSP port of the game, but through the use of shading and dimming to different colors as it got higher in the pic, you were able to use this color to create an active background with no empty space. And speaking of shading you did a fantastic job on her school uniform. The darkening of her white sleeve as it comes out under the jacket and the lightening of her jacket sleeve did a wonderful job at creating a light source. And you even used shading to create the lines of her knuckles on her hand, I have rarely seen someone sculpt a person's body features simply by using shading, and you did it amazingly well.

But the biggest thing that impressed me was your vision of the persona Orpheus being seen in the PSP. Orpheus lining up her body with the protagonist's body shows off that persona's are meant to be the inner self, while at the same time serving as a great bit of promotion for the upcoming PSP Port of the game. I mean in all honesty this is better than any piece of promotional material I've seen for the game and you should be very proud of it.

This is really amazing!. The whole idea behind is pretty awesome, the psp acting as a portal to the inner digital persona of the individual. It is interesting on how it makes me think about how now in days where people have their own avatars and how they put a lot of time and effort into either making them look like clones of them selves or a inner more powerful being.

Basically showing where we are with interactive gaming, the vision of looking into the future when people can actually see, interact, and even feel the digital world.
Great work!.
